Originally i thought i could use .html files in the posts, but i dont think it is possible. But having read a few blog posts about jigsaw, I discovered you can use .blade.md!

So this is my first experiment with that.

AND IT WORKS!!! this is the sitename variable:Allotment Andy

The mistake i made at first was calling the file date-blade.md it has to be date-blade.blade.md

I am not sure i need any blade features at the moment, but at least it is working now.
