Since tweetdeck was put behind the paywall of Twitter, I have been using the vanilla Twitter which is awful, but the only way to access the twitter site. One thing I found straight away is that it seemed to use a lot more resources and max the CPU at 100%. This mean't i had to shut the browser tab when not using it, which isn't something I would have done with tweetdeck.

Today, I had a little investigation and discovered a tweet which suggested it was the 'Listen live in Spaces' part which was maxing the CPU. The Twitter CPU Optimizer solved this problem and removed the Spaces html.
